just spoofin'.
just goofin'
on poets who
must critisize,
philosophize,
oversize
their reviews.
have ya' paid
your dues?
can ya' fill
your shoes?

rate me a 10.
give me a one.
but when all's said
and done,
i had the fun.
i wrote the write.
and you just might
get a little insight.
that is,
if ya' don't keep missin'
the point.
gettin' outta' joint
over a line or 2.
and if ya do,
oh well,
screw you.

Hi Steve
Really cute, and point well taken. When I am long winded on a review it is strictly an opportunity for duscussion. In my perspective literary works of any kind need only be RATED on technical merit--a reader's personal impression of whether the content is good or bad has nothing to do with the quality of the artist's talent. Thus here
I will rate everything a 10, in order to be able to post the review--and place technical observations when it seems they will be received in the spirit of support that is intended. (My long-windedness just might inspire a . . . "part II," huh? Vicky
