this poem is for all those restless spirits in the Night those lost souls reachin' for The Light for those whose eyes have lost their sight
try as they may try as they might they're just restless spirits in the Night sometimes they fight sometimes they take flight sometimes they're wrong sometimes they're right they're just restless spirits in the Night reachin' for a reason searchin' for a season a time more pleasin' restless spirits in the Night old poets who don't know it afraid ta' show it with a rhyme restless spirits in the Night losin' time losin' sight just reachin' for the Light restless spirits in the Night
