some look
and see
a tree

some look
and view
the forest
that they knew

some look
and feel
the lust
ashes to ashes
dust to dust

some look
and know
Love
and they let it show

some look
and try to find
what's ahead
or left behind

some look
and seek
what can't be found
there in their whole
a sound

some look
and know the sound
'bout what's goin'
'round & 'round

some look
to hear
what's here
try to hold it near

some look
and only see
fear
'bout how life be

some look
and just go
'round & 'round
'cause they don't know
their sound
or what's there
to be found

me

me
i
try
i look to see
i look to view
wish i knew
i look to feel
i look to know
i wish i could
let it show

i seek to find
i hear to hear
i fear no fear
long as i'm here

i know the sound
but still
i just go
'round & 'round
'cause i don't know
but i won't go

i just
look to see
the forest
and the tree

i look to see
who it is
that I Be
i seek to be
ME
