In morning worship and prayer
I look to the heights of knowledge and love
for purpose to lift my praises and gladness
In the signs of nature
Heaven and Earth
Water and Sky
Blue waters
floating plates of mirrors
shows a heart’s needs
An accurate image and portrait
of me
Sun, moon, wind, rain, the glance of rain drops
What of the smile and someone’s self?
All that I need in quiet is to be with you
Poured on my eyes in this place
The funny thing is to be heard
when no one does
The breadth, width, and depths
for the examples of failure turned upside and inside
Weakened by sins and sense of notice
The need for grace and strength in times not changing
The universe declares unknowingly
Conspiracies to take lives
To stumble in the darkness and beyond the galaxy
I am put on notice
