I take the best of each minute
turned into 168 hours this week
all mine---
and yours to use
an unstoppable clock...
this gift and annoyance called time
If I did well, great
If not, another minute replaces it
wonderful, just keep going, off the slate!
Should I forget those things behind?
reach forward, two steps forward
pressing towards the mark, I am inclined...
No post-mortems here
or pity parties
it is very clear
tragedies, problems, and success!
co-conspirators in the path of life
your constant companions I guess
frequent visitors, sometime overstaying
I embrace them all...
Inner peace can be obtained
serenity, understanding
no post-mortems here
all my life to the very end...

I am encouraged that we have a candidate for president who goes up against the odds; one who has served in the military and knows the world-wide threat of a few nations to replace the U.S. as the leader of the globe. Our future is in the hands of people like him. .
