She ended up as if in the beginning---
a nightmare portioned and cried for,
or at least she thought all was ending soon

looking over the horizon for the truth
and sadly, there was none.
So goes the tale of her life

on grand streams of light and wind
crossroads
On each side an extended arm positioned
knifed into the heart

tears, bones, chipped away
no smiles, replaced by jeers
A murder committed and slid under
Perfectly hidden

widows and widowers cried
eyes filled with watery tears dried up
Hoping for a miracle unseen

How this grand life works
hidden streams of thoughts and things
ended in unglorified ways

Meant and only seen by God

how each entered us, tongue unleased

Dumbly I go, into the crowd
thinking a tribute mattered
But there was none
Just a faceless crowd

Loneliness and  anger covered over
revelation of the grand requiem
Of life unfolded, unplanned
But vicious and true

At the end of one's life
the journey begins
this gospel of life written forever
So fulfilling and perfect evermore

This grand requiem of our lives.
Tribute...Honor...Emptiness
Now Fulfilled
