Somtimes those closest to us are the ones that hurt us the most.

It hurts more than you’ll ever know,
the pain I feel I never will show,

I hide it away push it down inside,
causing my emotions to crash and collide,

time after time I believe what you say,
maybe I’ll learn, maybe one day,

again I smile and say it’s alright,
and try not to cry with all of my might,

but it seems nothing can hurt as much this,
as much as another broken promise.
