WE see folks walking down the street every day but we never know what is going on inside of them. To use with the human eye, they seem perfectly fine. But if we delve deeper with the third eye wide open, we start to uncover the layers of past injuries and wounds. Then and only then can we begin to aide and assist victims of senseless crimes.
Your words speak volumes of what many harbor withing their souls. Kept silent because no one really wants to take the time to hear their story. Great write...
A valid statement indeed. Sometimes, those who need the most are the ones who won't ask for it. Those layers of injuries just have to leak out until someone recognizes a call for help.
Like I've said before, we really never know the hurting soul beneath the 'normal' looking exterior: well done! So much said in succinct, pain filled lines: BRAVA!
