Foolish doubts or a thousand "Whys?"
Cold anger and bold resistance,
All of these do not nullify
The awesome truth of God's existence.
Even pride and sheer arrogance
Or stark denials of His grace,
Fail to drown His Mighty Presence
And cannot cease His powerful ways.
Clench your fists and curse if you may,
Bask in the dark emptiness of soul,
Wallow in your unbelief each day-
Blame the God who can make you whole.
Be stubbornly lost and confused,
Pathetic in your whimpering,
Blaming God is your poor excuse
For wasting your life by just existing.
God still reigns in His Majesty,
Whether you believe Him or not-
Those who accept His gift of life,
Experience Him in ways you do not.
In the finality of time,
You know we will all pass away,
What if you find this truth sublime-
THAT YOU WERE SO WRONG ALL THE WAY?

Excellent verse of faith Cynthia, man is a living breathing machine created, no doubt. The computer, mans artificial intelligent replica had to be created, the automobile another mans creation and these man made things were created in the last one hundred years, Gods been around for millions of years, hugs
So very true...One of my poems tralks of that same place that only he can fill. I have several Lyrics that were composed by the Holy Spirit and for me at a time when all seemed so bleak. I would like to share them with you one day. I had writtemany worldly songs, but in those moments when WE were alone I could not find the words for a song for Him. I was in jail on false charges, thousands of miles from home when HE wrote me the first of five songs. I never changed or reworked anything, it just pouredfrom me. Again I find myself in a dark place because I, once again, thought I knew more than Him. He calls and waits. I keep wondering through the wilderness, but in His mercy He steers me to the river. Please pray for me. He allows me to make my choices and works with what I give Him and "engineers" me closer to Him each day.If I could only place this gift of stubbornness on Him instead of me. Pray that it be so. Thx...your brother and friend....Randy

Only those of us who have dedicated our lives to God and who follow Jesus's teachings will read your purging words in GOD IS. Non-believers will not take the time nor trouble to be ostracized for their non-belief because they deny any loss exists. Jesus said, "I will stand at the door and knock." Non-believers must open the doors to their own hearts before He can enter. It will not be by our demeaning words that we will bring them to Christ but by our examples of true Christian living.
