At the centre of my mind

    there always was

A great ocean of intense sunlight

To bathe my awareness.

With the warm rays of comfort

This Sun was fixed

     in the Heaven of my existence

By the loving God of creation.

Out of the darkness of empty days

He brought Time to fill the night with Love.

Physical desires unite with Him

Separate lonlinesses to be consoled.

The power of attraction is the reflection

   of His vision in your face.

Your eyes dance,

And you hold me above the World:

Away from suffering for a moment—

But I am not afraid of that!

You have given me the comfort

    of the first woman

And the pleasure of the last.

Outside all the Mythology,

You breath the Life-Force

Of eternal Happiness—

knowing Him.

After the Apple of Life is over—

Please take me away from here

So that I may thank Him
