The windy violet

The windy violet

The voice of knell

In forests of mire,

Unbroken the knoll’s

Discouraging glare.

 

There, was I standing,

A gaunt silhouette,

Uneven abandon

Of shadowy steps.

 

The windy violet

Reluctantly blank,

Falling askance

For a sundry wrench,

 

Bleak obelisk,

Almost unique,

Obliquely detached,

Meretricious elite.

 

There, am I standing,

Frozen in time,

Sand in my sandals

Surrounded by light.

Seems to me this is a bad dream, but it's possible to happen in real life as well. In some instances we feel like everyone else around us are morons, and we are the only good one alive.
