I am water – two parts Hydrogen, one part Oxygen,
liquid dream entire, all fluidity.

Up from ground, out of sky, of moisture I form
on mystical mountain high.

Born a trickling stream, I soon begin to babble,
become singing brook bringing joy.

Smoothing obstacles in my path, I offer cool refreshment,
share gift of expanding depth.

Gathering momentum, I flow faster toward unknown destiny in anticipation, desiring peace and restoration.      

Rapids raging, churning, rushing, turning, roaring,
I am a million droplets suspended,

Falling. I am water falling, exhilarated by what freedom
life affords those who seize its opportunity.

Self pools in waters green gathered again, directed 
into certain course. Again I am the creek

Beside the flowered meadow, even knowing my journey
will take me to the river wild

Where kindred souls may follow me to a wider sea.
There, I will pour out myself

To become one with the storm, riding its waves
into quiet crystal ocean waters

That shall welcome me back to heaven’s home,
where each of us belong.
