The December rain
sweeps across my cheek. I turn
to face the sudden downpour,
a reminder I am a living thing.

   Most days
   I would not notice,
   would not care
   to know.

A whipping wind
stirs wistful thoughts and feelings
all tethered somehow to the memory of you
and colored an indecipherable hue.

   Most days
   I would not notice,
   would not care
   to know.

Wind and rain,
breath and tears, these are gifts that
multiply, flow through me, spilling over
into smiles of sweet serendipity!

You are on a roll! But then again, you usually are=). I like rainy days, most of the time. Another great poem, Dawn.
