Pulsing summer sun, you are the laughter of ocean surf. You are chasing June bugs, running barefoot through fields of green and smiling at each other as we lick banana popsicles and listen to the wind.
Yours is a tender love as sure as the air that is ours to breathe, enough to sustain this separation so long.
January moon, I am a soulful winter night, the howling wolf and the relentless whipping wind that carries his plaintiff call. I am the pristine snowflake swirling patterns of peace with my truth, beautiful and bold.
Mine is a fierce love that will endure the firestorms of hell in the hope that you will return one day.
Seasons weaving in and out of each other, we are two strands of a single soul double helix, stronger together. We are the warmth of blue-sky sun after the rain and the joy of a child chasing a Swallowtail in spring.
Ours is love – tender, fierce – that will persevere to dispel doubt, heal division and reveal the harmony of who we are.

South Baltimore serves as the backdrop for this gripping story of three brothers leading very different lives but joined forever by the secrets of a painful family past.
