just a little vent so I can get back to the real stuff. :) He can�t be my lover. You can�t be my friend. I can�t be sure of self cast upon the wind. She can�t be your dream girl. You can�t be her knight. I can�t live in your world; must be out of sight. He shall be the ruler, though you judge what�s good. I wouldn�t cast you out even if I could. He keeps His silence still. You can�t speak to that. I can�t go on, just smile, exchange tit for tat.

Remarkably ranted, Dawn, the cadence trapped me with its abrupt edginess, and I like how the first two lines of each verse of 'them' are answered by the author, creating a push/pull effect that shimmers with silence and screams with betrayal.
