If it is the last time I will ever see you I am glad to have said I loved you. Glad to have wrapped my arms around my soul’s hard beautiful truth, then flung them open to you. Glad to have released love like a swallowtail, electric blue motion born of night’s soft cocoon. Glad to have whispered peace off’rings, let our silence speak for itself, for us and for forever. Glad to have searched your eyes, left colorless, and only seen hello when looking for goodbye. If it is the last time I will ever see you I am glad to have said I loved you.
