quiet
winter sun
light upon frozen eyes
dreams shatter
where children cry
in a season
where man celebrates
survival before
a long winter to come
we sing our songs
of hope
of peace
how do we hear
the voices of children
who dance blind
upon the chance of life
what will you teach
your children
to believe
to see
to love
or
to fear
to hate
WE DO THE BEST WE CAN, JUDE, IN THIS RAPIDLY DECAYING PLACE. WHILE WE'RE TRYING TO REACH OUR CHILDREN AND FAILING MISERABLY, WE'RE BEING TAUGHT OURSELVES. FOR EACH DAY WE'RE BEING SHOWN THE WAY MY A LOVING GOD THAT IS MERCIFUL AND FORGIVING. THUS, IT IS THOSE THINGS WE GIVE TO OUR CHILDREN. I LOVE THIS SEASON, IN SPITE OF THE SHADOWS, FOR IT IS DURING THIS SEASON THAT THE HEARTS OF SO MANY ARE KNIT BY THE BLESSED HOPE OF THAT PART OF HIMSELF, WHICH GOD FREELY GAVE TO US...THE SON. THE SHADOWS WILL NOT DISSIPATE UNTIL THERE IS A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH...UNTIL THEN, HE WILL KEEP US SAFE IN SPITE OF THEM. THANKS FOR SHARING, LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
