do you see me
i am young
i still dare to dream
i walk my long days
with empty pockets
yet dance with my eyes
open
mountain wind songs
do you hear me
i am middle age
sweat lies frozen
as do all the dreams
carved into black light
clouds
adrift
far from where my soul breathes
north eastern storms carry
the cool winds upon which
i watch my dreams
dream
do you believe in me
i am old
who now will carry my
dream's mirror
when i dream of water
water dreams of me
when i dream of earth
sand falls slowly
through my arthritic fingers
when i dream of wind
i dream of tomorrow
of yesterday
of truth
of need
of sorrow
of hope
when i dream of fire
i dance once more
a last chance to bleed
my truth
to love all my loves
to walk free
upon the mirror of reality
do i see
ocean to river
river to mountain
mountain to
the endless sea
