strings tied deep
where rests
beliefs i carved
free from time
riddles
of folded paper kind
who speaks
what nobody means
melody
coughs an old man
blind
long into a dream
only money can buy
sweet song
fear refrain
i stand naked before
this man
no pockets to carry
coins of gold
no hat to carry my shade
the old man lived within his
mirror
do i stand reflection-less
without my soul to hold
balance cries the world
money cries the old man
strings hold me cold
just above where rivers die
between truth and reality
