what do you dare
when
a young soul
dreams
between night screams
and the sweetest lover
such a long touch
and sips
that will hold your last breath
when
you stand alone
on the edge
of a tomorrow
split
where her lost eyes
still believe
is it a mountain's call
deep sky reflections
calls the universe
will you dare to still believe
as you bleed
for she is on your mind
will you dance
a young soul
across your empty bed
below the deepest of
tomorrow skies
I'm a dancer, not a screamer. That was the only part of your poem that bothered me. The rest was pure reminiscence of the girl that got away. Probably because she was destined to.
A further collection of poems, many from years in the Middle East, but also the California San Francisco and Central Coast areas (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Berkeley, etc.).
Love ya!
