torn jeans
painted paper screens
seasons long
a poet
has all his ramblin'
brought him joy
dreams still
sunrise in song
fingers empty
but for the wind
four chord singing
65 years
as always
bare feet and concrete
his continuing story
"looking for fun
and feeling groovy"
yet
never forgetting
to stop
to hear that sound
for yesterday
is just beyond tomorrow
for this still ramblin' man
Mary Angela Nangini's poems celebrate the richness of life and love. From the city to cottage-country and the roads in between, Nangini explores the changing seasons of her varied region. (This book will soon be reprinted in hard cover.)
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
