do i hear a clock
ticking away my time
or
is it just a roll of dice
sounding across my wooden
floor
this sound is playing
against my soul
do i listen
to the calls of silence
to its soft calls
where the universe
walks without sound
where time is marked
only by its echo
leaving empty space
in-between
where i dare to rest
before the call
We all have so little time, that time in between. We really shouldn't waste it because it's gone and we're not sure when it will be gone.
I prefer to just roll with the punches and keep on producing bits and pieces for the Internet to remember me. Google already knows me, by just my full name. My obituary will be far down the list.
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
contemporary social issues and gratitude for life.
