night
long endless night
once again dreamless
waking in silence
shadows walk my
walls
drawing the
dreams i couldn’t dream
watching what i
wouldn’t see
the seasons callout to the changes
it is autumn turn
if
i dream of colors
far to the north
i live without the change
neither hot nor cold
mark the seasons
am i a man without reason
living deep within my country’s
south
too old and sick to travel
lost to my memories
and the silence within
of my dreams
no light in the sky
only echoes of yesterday
on the wings of angels
i sigh within my years
leaving my tears
where poems can’t cry
You write of the last stage of life where the end may be a blessing. Because living in that stage can be a kind of confined living hell.
I'm not there yet. While quite confined, I can still break out once in a while and my health is remarkably good for my age and physical condition of quadriplegia.
Last night I had a vivid dream of something I never thought of before. Something my dreams are famous for. In this case, picking pristine ecosystems and guarding them with a death to any human who crosses their boundaries; Air Force pilots who land their planes on water to plant the devices; and a hedge against total destruction of the planet by human activity except for these seed pods of ecosystem that would spread throughout the planet after human's head destroyed ourselves.
