Your words painting a picture
so colorful and real,
so beautiful and filled with life
so close that I can feel.

I’ve never heard you speaking
and prob’ly never will
but my imagination lets me hear
and inflicts a pleasant chill.

The subject doesn’t matter
the topic is your choice
I read your lines, I’m dreaming
to be read to by your voice.

With me you share your talent
your penmanship, your gift
through words you take my spirit,
and you carefully uplift.
