Above Clouds

jetting above New Zealand's northern Island got me dreaming.....

Poem Artwork

The endless horizon
conquers the sky
I glide above clouds
weightlessly
soundless
and free.

Amongst eagles I fly
warm summer winds
carry me high
no worries
no care
no pain.

Altitude I gain
and playful I plummet
toward a mountain’s high summit
just to use the thermals
to rise
yet again.

My wings are spread wide
majestically I glide
over the far below deep blue sea.

I had this feeling while flying to Hawaii with my wife and children, the feeling of being in God's hands as we watched the clouds roll by below.

As I am one of those who love flying whether in a two seater or a jumbo I can feel this write in my mind. I always felt like when in a plane how close to heaven are we especially when flying above a heavy cloud cover. This is a wonderful write Becca and indeed the graphic is matches to perfection.
