Actually, I prefer thunderstorms, as long as there's no hurricanes --I'd like a few clouds right now to shade this Florida sun. Killer heat here, so what else is new

My Blue Skies


 



 


I BELIEVE in my blue skies


And I believe there is an eternity of them


in my mind.


I believe in wild-flowers that bloom,


along the wild, rocky roads of gloom.


I believe in skies,


that turn to sunshine after every rain.


And I believe in a love so strong,


it can wash away all the pain.


I believe in a summer day,


for every child along the way,


I believe in blue skies,


in something magic, in something so brand new,


that I know, I believe in you.

Love the swimming photo posted here. Am Scorpio the water dog. Your poem gives uplifting thoughts for us and I think you are a super writer and musician. Take care a go a long way in the music field. Expressions from you are well worth reading.

My favorite color is blue (bordering on black). This is a lovely write, Michael; so full of optimism, it seems to me. Oddly, I have a poem posted here entitled, "Blue Song." I cannot remember if the mood is the same as that expressed via your verses here. Somehow, I doubt it. Thanks for sharing. Love and best wishes,

We both wrote something about blue today! I love blue skies, because that means that my solar god, The SUN is out shining to energize all people!
