Written for our family reunion.

BUTTERFLIES

By Kathy Armijo

July 2007

The beauty of a butterfly lies in its evolution.

First, it’s a caterpillar.

Then, it must die to awaken as a glorious butterfly and freedom.

When we see a butterfly, we see God’s message in its entirety.

Each of us must be born before we can contemplate God.

We travel through life in search of THE glorious tomorrow.

The journey may be fraught with detours.

The journey may highlight our fears.

The journey may be slow and tedious.

The journey may be exhilarating and joyous.

Yet, through it all we know God will guide us.

We must live life full of love, compassion, gentleness, and mercy.

Our ability to grow in these areas will be pleasing to God’s eye.

The joyous reunion with our Creator fills my heart with anticipation.

Someday I become hope to become like the butterfly –

to be unbelievably beautiful and uninhibited.

And when the time comes to die to a new life,

I trust that God will say

"Welcome home, my good and faithful servant."

You are most assuridly, are on you on your way. There is no doubt that you feel deeply. Pain from God is great devloper of intuative visioning and empathy. The result, of course, is you. And you are one of God's gift to us. Don
