Got a new job

Ain’t anything like the title implies

The time sure flies

Feeling out of my element

Employees infinitely younger than me

Still, they still hired me.  What did they see?

Brain is still working – Yahoo!

Takes a little longer for ‘stuff’ to stick

Not feeling like I used to – clever and slick

My working days aren’t over

I’m sharper than some

Still know how to have fun

My work ethic is strong

Gonna’ work it

And show ’em how it’s done

Author's Note:  I am working full-time, so don't have as much "free" time as I used to.  This means, there is less time to write and post reviews.  I will still be reading, but may not leave a note for each poem that I read.  Sooo, if all you get is my name 'minus' a review, I hope you understand that my time has become extremely limited, but I still value your poems - very, very much!!
