FLYing  High

© By Kathy Armijo

Come fly with me

To a scene from above the tree

There you can see

From sea to shining sea

An unfathomable beauty is below

Do you see the crop furrows?

Do you see pain?

Or, the beauty of rain?

Are your eyes seeing truth?

Or your youth?

Life’s perspective is the angle of the view

What YOU see is true

Take away life’s filters

See how the world differs

From the way, you see …

And how you react to others and me

Ahhh, there is beauty out there everywhere we look, Some folks don't see it because they are introspective, seeing the problems within. A lovely poem.

Very nicely done and what a fresh and sunny outlook to take on the world around us. You are so right that it is often hard to see past self erected clouds in our lives.
