I miss …
Reading what you have written
From your heart
I miss …
Your ability to make my heart sing
Knowing that you are amongst the living
There is not a day that goes by
That I wish I could pick up the phone
Say, “Hello. How are you?”
Excuses, I have plenty
For not sharing
Suffice it to say, “Life has gotten in my way”
The miles between us are many
Still, the feelings remain strong
My love for you is a bright spot in my day
I trust that His love inspires your day
Making your journey less difficult
May He continue to brighten your day
In the same way that you brighten mine.
Author’s Note: I started a new job a couple of months ago, and am feeling good about the work. Yet, I find that I come home exhausted…. Must be the getting old thing. Steve had surgery the end of July and is doing fine. He still has limited feeling in his arm, but we’re hopeful. Now, he’s waiting to find out when they’ll do surgery on his shoulder. I think his warranty has expired, but he is definitely a “keeper.” All my love to each of you. God bless you my dear friends!!!

You are always on my mind, (Glen Campbell?) any thing I can do for you, please do not hesitate to ask. You are such a special person, and I truly have missed your presence here on the den. The sun is shining a bit more today, knowing that you are doing fine. Just try and take some "special" time for yourself, do not burn out your batteries, please. Sending healing energy always, you know that. Come back little sheeba, as soon as you can.
