Everybody goes through sleepless nights, at one time or another.....

In the wee hours of the night, you awaken....don't know why......

Could it be troubling thoughts...or just something you can't quite put your finger on...whatever it is, you're restless...absoulutely sleepless!

Warm milk? Hot tea?--they don't help, warms the body up, and feels good going down, but the mind's still going ......sleepless.

Is there nothing, something, anything that can ease the torment? Soothe the soul? To put the mind to rest? Sleepless....sleepless......sleepless!!!

Meditation?  A Book....to distract the mind? No, nothing is working....maybe visualization of a special place---a memory, a scent, or maybe even an event, will be best....A postive spin, will help....AHHH!!!

Rest....sweet rest, at last---peace restored-all is well.

Sleeplessness, one of life's mysteries.
I truly loved your writing. Answered all the why's, now if we can just figure out how to "fix it."

Jo-Etta: I could feel that coming from your soul...sad, happy, and very beautifull. I have been there...ah sleep......

Beside Still Waters by Jill Eisnaugle

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani

“The woman or man who is a poet, or fiction writer, or playwright, or all of these, is engaged constantly in a jazz ballet of vocabularies, passions, genders, histories, perspectives, death, love, and life. The music of revelation announces itself to
