Courage and Stance

This is something I wrote a few months ago, my life then became distracted, I am back and now these words seem more important than ever.
When words go unspoken the heart readies to be broken Reality becomes misconstrue d When Intimidation is being used Things May seem the same, and thought may not occur that courage and stance have come to her Fear no longer prevails Trust is a requirement a bond only grows in details Modification is not a prescription it is a personal definition and taken with pride not forced from the other side. Artful management Is no longer Daunting Rather, strength has risen and not been given There IS no longer Haunting. © 2009 Carin' Spirit

This speaks volumes about relationships. I especially liked the stanza about truth being a requirement. My daughter and I recently had a conversation about that very thing...and about how without honesty & trust their is NO true bond. You hit the nail on the head with this one. Thank you for sharing.

This is quite revealing, when one is faced with great oppression/torment or manipulation, the reaction is numbness
at first, but COURAGE grows and builds up to make one assert
freedom and righteousness, only then can one stand...again.
