oh the colors the beautiful colors
scarlet, crimson, violet
beyond are ever greens of
jungle, forest, and meadow grass
pristine the water that flows
within are creeks and riverlets
I see the majesty of the land
and its fertile loam
where trees yield fruit
and berries grow wild
fragrant flowers fill the spaces
nestled between the rows
 
I hear the sound of laughter
joyful fills the air
playing and singing
from the elders
as little ones
giggle and dance
the sand is soft
my feet are bare
the air is warm and sweet
this vision could be ancient
this vision could be far off
it may not be earth at all
perhaps its heaven’s call
 
maybe it’s the world I’d wished for
the wonder land inside of me
the fantastic beauty of what could be
I open my eyes and look around
there is amazing beauty all abound
I am not lost, I am completely found
in the world, I had created
