Sparkling bits of angel's dust
gather along the picture frames and the window sill

powdered sugar specs reflected in sunlit glances around the room

fall gathers cobwebs in upper corners
and glimmers, maybe

guaranteed to grow
was not an option
for those who chose not to

which is fine,
they hold that thought...

where the mind still reigns of control

inspiration dances with gypsy folks
tapping into crispy leaves
and the falling snow flakes

while some woolly socks and warming tea
give of themselves to comfort what is sought
and knowing Now, is more lived than taught
