i ride a white horse
i pick up a seer
east of the mountain
travel across the desert terrain
seeking Jerusalem by way of Gomorra
the earlier rains
left standing pools
the dry lake beds became mirrors
i hear a reminder to observe this place
and the reflections were stunning of
mountains erect to the peace filled skies
exchanging coins with money changers
gambling with vigor or demise
caught in the mood of full moon fever
scorpions stung with white snakes
animal hides adorned the throng
i held his tattoo to my vessel
then drank a potion of fire
in tranced to the music
with currents flowing
i writhed upon him a lap dance
the melodies haunting
entice trapeze artists
bodies flexible to liquid motion
while strong arms hold up the weight
people gather from many directions
rivalry is played under structures
built from the realms of time
reverenced by the universe
intrigued by its growing
in mystic of what will come
