and gaze upon the earthly landscape
lush is the green on every hillside
in love with the terrain of stately mountain
wildflowers grow along the banks
everything stretching its head to the sun
reminding me of natural beauty formed
i wonder sometimes
why i notice these things
and how natural beauty
makes me weak in the knees
arriving home i fill the tub
lavender scented to soak away
what has been a very long day
my clothes in a pile i'll deal with later
this moment of naked i wish to savor
i see your smile i'm mesmerized
truly delighted
for heaven has sent me an angel so warm
i could never walk this earth and ever feel alone
