Daddy, you are gone.
God came and took you away.
I wasn't ready for you to die.
I wanted you to stay.

But God, had other plans;
it was time for you to depart.
Your death was God's will;
I know this in my heart.

No more pain will you feel;
no more suffering will you endure.
You are finally at peace;
I know this for sure.

No more tears will you shed;
nor another sleepless night.
The battle is now over;
you fought a good fight.

No more illness or sickness;
no more discomfort or disease.
You can now rest;
your body is at ease.

You are free at last.
You have won the race.
Your worries have ended;
no more hardships will you face.

Your journey has ceased,
and you've had your last cry.
You're in your new home,
up above in the sky.

I'll see you again,
when God returns for me.
We'll walk side by side,
throughout eternity.
