Seasons may come and go, but there is always hope for renewal...

Poem Artwork


Outside this window frame of warmth
stands an autumn tree so strong.

It bears no fruits,
no flowers.

Its windblown leaves shredded,
scattered on the ground.

Bare limbs exposed,
reaching expectantly towards the sky.

Awaiting patiently for birds of spring
to embrace them once more and sing.

The cycle of life and its rejuvenation (reborn) is portrayed beautifully in these few lines. Very uplifting poetry!

In your "view from the window," you have described a tree in winter with words that give it great character and worth. Only a poem like this can give such an honor, birth.
