The serenity of silence, captured and framed.

The serenity of silence:

Like a pond unmoved by wind,
reflecting willows hanging undisturbed;

The fisherman, sitting in his dreams,
hoping to catch rainbowfishes;

The sun is setting in the west,
illuminating the wonders of sunset colours;

Has the fisherman caught any fish?
Or does he leave them
for the soaring seagulls?

Looking down at this beauty
of lingering fragments of rainbows
against endless skies...

The serenity of silence,
captured and framed.

Your poem reflects a calm tranquility that I have been fortunate to experience while fishing a time or two. When that happens, one wishes for more than the fishes to be accompanied by and to experience with.
