We’ve loved and lost, then turned and tossed and wrestled with emotion. We’ve stood steadfast, As though love lasts then questioned our devotion. Our love is true . Our hate is too, One bitter and one sublime. When it comes down, What I have found, Is we stand the test of time. The fights are rough But we stand tough, Somehow getting back on track. We coexist In peaceful bliss To wait for discord’s attack. You and I know Our love will grow. We’ll harbor no resentment. We’ll pass that test Like all the rest, Fulfilling our Commitment.
