Stars On Her Crown

Eight brothers that stair-step down,
From twenty-six to eight.
When she finds they have a need,
She does not hesitate.

She conceived each one in love,
And raised them with it too.
She makes every sacrifice.
Rewards for her are few.

On the other side of life,
A golden crown will wait,
Holding eight stars upon it,
Just past heaven’s gate.

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.

Contraband Marriage, traveling along the hemline of loving after incarceration, is a love story written in lyric and free form, set in reality with a different ever after.
