I feel so mistreated,
abused and cheated

You lied and I listened,
with never a question
I accepted each statement you spoke as gold
I even argued with friends in your favor

Can’t say I hate you,
as much as I want to.
It’s not your fault that I let you lie
But sit and take notice now that I’m stronger

I learned a trick
As you piled it on thick
I learned to listen with both of my eyes
Now it won’t matter, say what you want to
Words can be false, but actions don’t lie
