Put on your big boy boxers, be a man
You have doubts but I bet you can
It’s time for you to make a plan
And stop with your abuses
You have a bill or two to pay
You only work for half a day
You love your son or so you say
And he teethes on your excuses
Put on your big boy boxers, wear them proud
Stand yourself out from the crowd
Keep one promise that you vowed
And be a father to your son
Your car is broke and out of gas
You can’t find your transit pass
You’d walk, but your shoes won’t last
And you wouldn’t be any fun
Put on your big boy boxers, not your Underoos
All the options are your’s to choose
Yet you prefer to sing the blues
And pretend you’re not in charge
He was potty trained today
He wears Pull-ups, but that’s ok
He’s just a toddler anyway
And his pants are not to large
Not like your big boy boxers, left on the floor
Left behind when you walked out the door
Saying you didn’t love us anymore
But that you’d do your part
Now it’s time for you to step up
Put away your sippy cup
Get off the porch, you’re not a pup
It’s time to find your heart

Regis
A man who abuses is not a man, a child who cries and acts out when he doesn't get his way. A potentially life saving write, very well penned.
