HA! You wrote this on my birthday minus the 2009. I can only think Victoria, that when the inexhaustible galaxies speak to us as they do, it is from the phenomena of consciousness that allows them and the universe to realize itself, and is the mirror of what we are.

There is so much to be learned from the vastness of inner space and this write explores so much of this. Whether we called it our soul, our spirit, our guiding light or our doppelganger we all believe even if we fear to admit it that there is more to the universe than the four score or so we walk through on this plane of existance. A poem giving that hopeful light amid the shadows, like the solitary candle giving comfort to our darkness fears.

Beneath the heavens of midnights safeguarding tranquility,
unfold your heart to see the pinnacle of moon beams grace.
Dissenting upon your life with blessings from mountainous strength;
open your eyes to the divinity within the essence of perfuming gardens…

There is a whole message in this stanza alone Vickie. It tells us to be strong in our journey through life and be who we are without fear. I have always been that person and the giver of my unique soul is also the giver of every other unique soul, because He made everything and everyone. Even though our bodies are the products of earthly sires, our souls are forever, and live on after the body is gone. This is my favorite stanza because of the message it gives.

IMHO Vickie, this stanza is the thread that keeps the whole poem moving with the same message. You have penned this very well, and you have given the reader another poem that makes us think about our own journeys through life, the universe, and eternity. Thank you for sharing.
