embracing the bodice of stillness with sweet utter warmth...

Adorned

Windswept upon the fallow fields of empyrean summits;

dancing beneath the meadows of star struck daisies;

fire flies questioned the ebony blanket of nocturnal velvets;

falling gingerly upon the earthen beds of pastures quietude…

Eventide’s whisper comes alive with twilights glimmer;

searching the integral bounty of slumbers waking moon;

calling softly from the hidden shadows of silent dreams;

eyes of solitude open the galaxy of translucent stars…

Flickering like gem stones fortune of rare jewels;

dressing the garments of earth with pristine treasures;

the cache of grassy knolls give an offering of tranquility;

embracing the bodice of stillness with sweet utter warmth…

Seeds of love were scattered beneath the forgiving sands of time;

closing the gates of emptiness with the melody of promises vow;

hope planted the faith of belief into the soil of imbue peace;

supported by the carriage of silence upon fragrant wafting breeze…

Tomorrows growth is now accepted into the fields of fertility’s claim;

adorned by the calling of midnights dove roaming the sustaining wind;

tenures of importance now rising within the opulent gardens of escalation;

are emerging within the waking sunrise vowed by harmonies circle of life…

Stunning digi-pic, Victoria. What care you must invest in your garden-I can't see a blemish. If we could all remain within your ecstatic vision and understanding of nature's brilliance, how much happier we would be. Nature teaches us harmony and balance and you express it beautifully in both art and verses. Keep spreading seeds of love and joy...

Really like your spoken stuff. The rose is superb. Reminds me of the Rose that came into my life in mid April. Coming down from helping a young man who died of ALS, she answered my ad and has become an integral part of my care... a rose in more than a name.

This posting, both picture and poetry, sings of magnificence, of glories "emerging within the waking sunrise." Words offered in a review would be paltry praise for this verbal and visual treasure, Vicki. Thank you for sharing it with us.

You look so clearly into the other side of the realm of fantasy and reality with such clairvoyance and feelings of the beauty of your images. Very lovely indeed

This is written once again in the "Vickiese" style that I have come to know and love. There is much to garner from your verses here. Thank you, Vickie. Love, hugs, and best wishes to you,

Regis

Goodness ...
Your imagery in this is superb and elevates the soul
(of this reader) into the upper air breathed by the Olympians.

The balance and interplay of opposing elements that you have created in the first line poetess, ...
"fallow fields" juxtaposed with "empyrean summits" is gratifyingly resolved with your last line ... "emerging within the waking sunrise vowed by harmonies circle of life"
a delightful cycle!

Your image, too, dear and talented Victoria, compliments this cycle of emergence and fullfillment marvelously. Your poetic innovation will linger as a rare fragrance in my senses today.

Blessings ...

"...closing the gates of emptiness..." oh! if man could have done it! and then that lovingly optimism takes over and one is "...raising within the opulent gardens of exaltation.
Exquisite.
