The Undertow
Relieved of torrent burdens surge
an escapade crosses the vital stream.
Moving in the waters are rapidity
unseen currents of tides undertow…
Where no dwerger dare wander
…less the tepidity of thorns wail;
Least under moon beams spiral stair
the marred stars are a paretic alter…
This premise of shaded dark reprieve
where faint visions will etch their self
upon the love of the descrying heart…
A voice will be whispered in silence;
The wet plunge of submersion sink-
and there in the bottom of the shallows,
the breadth of merciless time resides;
ensuring matters of the visionary soul…
Offering the life of inner balms buried;
to reach from the grave of darkness,
to flow…with currents of the undertow…
