Autumnal Wind Clay ovens are earth; Terracotta bowls; Buried inside the ground; Warming from darkness… Seasons harvesting; Fermentations begin; Inside rustic kilns; Our dough rises… Set with wet cloths; The yeast swells; Warms the soul; Kneading begins… Fritters deep fried; Inside cast irons; Fresh churned butter; We picked fruit kernels; Black raspberries for jam… Horned goats are milked; Tapioca is made fresh; The hen house is quiet; Eggs are in our basket… The rooster cocks crow; Wild boars are penned; Shelves are neatly stocked; Autumnal wind breaks limbs... …Winter arrives soon (Written: December 27^th, 2009 1:50 p/m) In Joy, In Peace, In Grace, In Harmony of Love Embraced ~ Embrassé poétesse d'amour ~ poétesse romantique Copyright© 2009 Poetess Victoria L. Wow you really prepare for winter, and in the right way! Would love to experience all those aromas and goodies at your house - I published a piano book of music I wrote back in the "spring" of my years named "Autumnal Tints" - Last time I used that word. I like it, but somehow I changed the name when I published. --and by the way, your writing and command of words keeps rising, even since I started reading you a year or so ago - and your prolific too...

Braided lasso of barbwire is good for healing scars. My hen house isn't all that quiet, mistress...Autumnal Wind showcases multifarious country traditions in western poetic boutique...this would do well in a country fair entered in the open category, Autumnal Wind decompauged and shellaced on a piece of barnwood...a purple Rosetta write...
