Mausoleums are always very interesting to me. Some people who visit have blankets, pillows, cards, things to eat; Tablets of paper to journal with. Donation cups, candles…the list of objects are endless. This person surely has a lot of wealth I would imagine. We all must be rather spiritual beings. I say this because of the great respect we all have for our grave sites across the globe. Vandals do harm the stones on occasions, but for the most part there is great respect. I am also utterly fascinated with abandoned buildings/houses/barns… (This is also in the Articles section w/short slideshow)

I agree with you on this one...almost evey culture (and even some animal species) have there own ways of marking the eternal restin places of their loved and departed ones. From a simple wooden cross to a fancy mausoleum...it matters not to the dead but to the ones left behind it is a moment of silence.
