embodied vision

Incarnated

Perceptivity reaches

into dark waters

for your soul

where your tears gather

as desiderations unknown

collecting the inerrancy of beliefs

pivoting vociferant emotions

suffused by parasitic wounds

infecting your ominous bones

or incarnated buoyancy to drift

as sea moss comforts your essence

enervated within satin vines caressing

the under currents

drowning memories

as your vision fades away

further into shadows so utterly deep...

Again, the evolution of soul is here for our edification and delight, Vickie, but there is challenge, too, in the trial processes we endure and, hopefully, rise above.

Living with a haunting memory of a perpetrator's crime, healing through poetry of this magnitude, I think, regenerates the victim as the personification of the perpetrator in that she can think like he did while committing his crime...therefore...place the retribution in the form of an eternal magic of voodoo strength, and if he is still amongst the living, the voodoo takes hold making his life miserable, if he is indeed reduced to bones, then he has to be judged by those dead that lie beside him in a graveyard of spirits...embodiment of the flesh tortures evil souls forever and always...karma floats...

Love,
Sage
