Surrender

Poem Artwork

Indecision clouds the mind


much as the veil of fog


that gently obscures the early morning moon.


Reminiscent of moments


in which resolve takes on an air of conviction,


yet uncertainty slowly drifts in.


It is said that nothing is permanent in life except change,


and I am witness to that


as I watch the dark sky surrender to the sun.


Although still masked in fog,


 it carries forth the prospect of opportunity.

This poem shows so much depth...indecision and opportunity are almost like the sky and the sun...as you have shown they go hand in hand. We as individuals have the same emotion it is the change that we are always striving for...

Great movement in this piece of writing. The whole poem reflects the idea of change - transition.

Well said. Each of us surrenders to forces stronger, and it's good to remember that there are these forces, and they will have their way. I believe in your line,"...I watch the dark sky surrender to the sun"
